The song for the day is Roller Coaster of Love by RHCP because I've finally made up my mind and it's been a roller coaster ride for damn sure.
Long story short, I was being insecure about a relationship I was in and letting the 'advice' that some friends, one 'friend' in particular, were giving me make some of my decisions for me. Bad idea, but I see my mistake now. The funny things is after a few Facebook posts from me about a great time at the beach yesterday, that 'friend' decided to post on Facebook that you just can't fix stupid and then removed me from their friend list shortly after... This is all after she would tell me to do what makes me happy. I guess sometimes you find out who your actual friends are.
Anyways, fuck that. Yesterday's beach excursion was great. Spent a few hours just laying on a blanket talking, eating fruit and drinking orange juice. So much happier now that I'm listening to myself and what I want.
