Wow, a new year and new everything. I'm not one for fate, but it seems that the beginning of the year is when I find love. The last few girls that I've dated with serious intentions I've met in January. Probably just random happenstance, but still a curiosity.
So far I've started a new position at work which is bringing me out of the boring slump that my career has been. I have more exposure to new things, new ideas, and new ways to learn. Needless to say it's a bit exciting for me to get out of the last five stagnant years.
New girl and from out of nowhere I tell you. In a random night out of a bad movie, Mexican food, and Guitar Hero it seems I've found something I thought I wasn't looking for. Now, just shy of a month from that fateful night, we still talk everyday, see each other on the weekends and somehow still end up having 4 hour phone conversations after spending the day together. It's an amazingly refreshing change and honestly something I haven't had with any other woman. We shall see where this goes.
