I am sick. Gross. I've got a real motherfuck of a cold. This morning I woke up and it felt like I'd swallowed a sword in my sleep. The worst part of getting sick when you're in college is having to sit quietly in class when you have to blow your nose every other minute. You bring kleenex, but of course you run out and you sit there trying not to sniffle & snort too much.
It's a little more than two months until graduation. *gulp*
I keep telling myself that poor people have been living in NYC for two hundred years. And of course I don't feel any better.
It sucks being single again. This time after only two months. I'm still not totally sure what happened. I was a very good boyfriend, I thought. Am I too nice maybe? I feel like that was maybe it. Too easy-going with compliments, too much of everything.
It's exhausting to be that close with somebody. I'm taking a break from trying, I think. I'll make love to my tonic & gins and just go with the flow.
p.s. yay for Diablo Cody and her Oscar win. I just finished reading "Candy Girl" instead of writing my English papers and feel that was definitely the right decision.
