Last night I wrote a note, and actually gave it to the person it was meant for...hehe....I'm still in the 7th grade...a note...who writes notes? bah frown frown
I'm back home in jacksonville until tuesday or so. The past month I've been terribly homesick, but now that I'm back this time I don't think its been homesickness, it's something else...
I need to keep myself together, because I've been doing things lately, that are stupid.
I just need this semester to be over, move out of my current apartment, bring my car to tallahassee, heh, and work many an hour at dillards. I get paid a good bit there, but I'm not taking advantage of it, heh, especially the past two weeks in which I worked a combined total of 19 hours. whatever
I kinda sorta found a new roommate. She lives in my apartment building, but in a two bedroom, her roommate is leaving...so she needs someone. ME! She seems like a nice girl, and I'll have my own bedroom, something I've been without for the past 2 years. Also the 2 bedrooms have a washer and dryer! Yay! biggrin No more laundromat.
So that's all the good news...
and I would feel pretty good right now if it wasn't for that note. Why did I write that? I wasn't drunk, or high, or sad, or anything. Although...it was like 3 am..and I did eat this weird cantaloupe....that's right...its all Hala's fault, she made me eat that, and now I've written...oh god. Oh well. It's too late. He's read it, probably...
My most humble moment should be the note... shocked

probably my favourite smiths song:

There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out

Take me out tonight
Where there's music and there's people
And they're young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one
Anymore

Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people and I
Want to see life
Driving in your car
Oh, please don't drop me home
Because it's not my home, it's their
Home, and I'm welcome no more

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine

Take me out tonight
Take me anywhere, I don't care
I don't care, I don't care
And in the darkened underpass
I thought Oh God, my chance has come at last
(But then a strange fear gripped me and I
Just couldn't ask)

Take me out tonight
Oh, take me anywhere, I don't care
I don't care, I don't care
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one, da ...
Oh, I haven't got one

And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine

Oh, There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out
There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out

Ok..must resist an urge to do comments about sausages wink

hey why did you tell him not to read it? you must have written it out and and handed it over because you wanted something to happen? are you just scared of not getting the right response? understandable but be brave smile

my fave Smiths song..hmmm. So many to choose from really. Umm I like late period-smiths best (Queen is Dead and Strangeways). I like a lot of early Moz stuff too (viva hate and bona drag are excellent). my fave Moz song was always Last of the Famous International Playboys, smiths fave..stop me if you think that you've heard this one before. Has all the right ingredients- funny/sad lyrics, energetic musical backing. As I drove back from my Dad's house tonight I have a compilation Cd and it had a live version of "There is a light.." on an influential UK music program called The Tube. Johnny Marr did the guitar bit instead of the strings on the reocrd and it really is a lovely bit of music even without the doomed romance lyrics.

depeche mode? well i dont mind them but I only really know their cheesy 80s synth stuff and Im guessing that their best stuff was when they moved on from that? I think my housemate likes them so I can get info from him.

The first Fiona Apple album is pretty good. Its more constrictive in lyrics, vocals and music but there are enough good songs to make it pretty vital. For me there are too many slow songs with just her and the piano but there were quite a few singles off of it I think- the First taste, Criminal, Shadowboxer, sleep to dream and its probably worth it for these. When the pawn etc (and more etc) sounds to me like she has really foudn herself artistically as the first album was done when she was pretty young (18/19?)

Sorry if this note is way too long but if you ask me about my fave artists I will go on and on (you have been warned shocked )

Oh and your profile pic still looks good kiss
