So it's been an interesting week (how many times have I said that now?)
Grduated on Friday (woo!!)
Saturday was just kickin back and hanging out.
Sunday was the graduation party. Lotsa fun there.
Monday I started working @ Citgo again.
Tuesday I got a call out of the blue from Westbrook Technologies cuz they wanted to interview me for a pretty decent position based on an older resum they saw on Monster.com. had the day off, had fun. bought a DS and a few games and chilled wht "the crew."
Wednesday I worked and thne just kinda chilled at home.
Thursday I had that interview @ 10 AM . I went to that, it lasted 2.5 hours. lotta fun. the main guy interviewed me for about an hour and we just mostly talked about the job and the company. the job they want me for is $34,000/yr salary. Health, Vision & Dental benefits as well as some decent vacation policies. I'm being compared with 2 other people and shjould know my status by beginning of next week! then he showed me around the building nad introduced me to a few people in differnt depts. finally it ended with one of the girls in the dept I'd be working in interviewing me about my resum and stuff and us asking about the job and what I though or need to know about the company. that interview ended with her asking the question "So, do you like pool?" to which I replied "uhhh, yeah, sure. I haven't played in a while, but I enjoy it, yes. why do you ask?" apparently every Friday after work a buncha people in the co. go out and play pool at a bar. fricking COOL!!!!
anywho. friday I had off and it was a day of just not doing much ata ll.
Saturday I worked until 10:30. then I picked up 2 of my friends Ed & Brian and we went off to Pixie37's Birthday party. It was pretty fun. I kinda got us lost twice on the way up so when we had goten there about 1/2 (or more) of the people that had been there had just left.... I'll hafta make sure I don't get lost ever again. but it was still fun. We chilled with Pixie37 and 3 of her firends and people kept trying to write "Balls" on the forehead of this one kid who kept falling asleep. it was pretty funny. I definitely need to start going to more parties and stuff
after the party we ended up at Brian's girlfriend, Des's, house in W. Hartford. we stayed the night and then woke up around noon-ish. hit up Dunkin' Donuts and then came home.
Gonna go clean or cars now cuz they be filthy (inside and out)
