This weekend has been quite a ride.
Like whoa
SO we decided to throw a bit of a party since Mark was going home for a birthday party this weekend. SO Ken, Lisa, Mandy, B.Huff & I went out to get some supplies (booze, mixers & munchies). spent about $100 on all (about 40 - 60 or so donated from others)
IWas invited to go have a good time at the Burrito Bar with Jon, Brian, Scott and others, but turned it down due to above mentioned plans.
SO hung out and drank with Mandy, Lisa, Ken & some of Lisas friends. It was pretty crowded in my room, but it was fun. we went through a lot of the supplies and made a pretty large mess. party ended around 2 or 3 AM. We tried to hit up the Kappa party but it was broken up right as we got there. so Ive still never been to a frat-party to this day (tho Im told Im not missing much). Went to bed.
Woke up around 1-ish. Mandy invited me to head into the city to try to see Rent So we caught a cab and hit the 4:30 ferry into the city. got up to Broadway and we put our names in separately for the Lottery drawing for Rent. We then went to eat while waiting for the drawing @ 6:00. long story Short, We came back, and NONE of our names were pulled. So, no dice. We wandered around and ended up going to Midtown Comics. I finished off the Wolverine: The End series and Ken and I found the greatest thing Ever. A little Mini-Series/Movie from 1996 on Fox called Generation X. We met up with Crazy-Anime-Chick and her cooler friend Jess. we all traveled back to Wagner together and then Jess, Mandy, Ken & I went back to my room to discuss comics, learn HeroClix, WATCH Generation X and enjoy a nice long drinking-card-game called Mona Lisa (Yes Lisa V. the SAME Mona Lisa from who knows how long ago.). MUCH fun was had much alcohol was consumed(we killed it all). and yeah. after that we all just hung out, did some drunken Karaoke off my Computer and had a good night. Ken Left, Then Jess. Mandy hung around and we chilled and talked. Me, being drunk, said a few things typical of a drunken guy (tho not normally typical of a drunken ME). but Im still alive :-D. and theres no weirdness, so no harm done.
anywho. Mandy ended up spending the night (and thats it). We stayed up and talked and laughed about shit until about 5 or 6. We got up around 10:20 and went to Brunch @ 11:00 and then I came back for some WoW and napping.
Mark got back today we hung out. Watched Shaun of the Dead. Awesome movie. The extras rock my socks.
hmmm... wondering, right now, what I may not be remembering about t he past 2 nights. my neck is pretty sore (possibly head-banging during Karaoke) and my right hand and knuckles hurt a bit as well. not to mention a sore back... :-
anywho, Im going to bed.
