I wasn't this aware that breakups could go this well. I mean when Paddy and I split it was okay, we didn't fight about it. But it was still painful. This time I've almost entirely forgotten why I was with her in the first place, and it's not even been two weeks. No pain, no feeling of regret or loss. I know she threw it all away, not me. I just threw the ashtray.
So this is going to be dubbed the 'Best Breakup EVER.' I'm a real person again with her out of my life! I'm fuctional. For the first time in the last 365 days I feel like I have a head on my shoulders and that my life is moving forward.
And it's all because she's gone. There's a few loose ends to tie up still, but that will come with time. Everything else though has been taken care of.
I'm overwhelmed with this feeling of life, love and true happiness.
I'm never turning back.
