So I woke up this afternoon to the fire alarms going off in our building and when I got out of bed I realized that all the power was off. 
I started to get a little nervous. And then heard the fire truck sirens and looked out the window to see a fire truck and police car come into the parking lot, my heart started to pound in my chest!!! I didn't know if I should leave my apartment and go outside! But the hallways were so dark, I didn't want to unless I needed to. And I couldn't smell or see any smoke in the hallway, so I decided to stay in my apartment and see what happened. The alarms stopped and the fire truck left, phew. Relief, I could calm down now. And the power came on about an hour latter. I wonder what that was all about?
