YAY!!!!! I had a fucking GREAT time in New Orleans!!! I just really can't remember when I've had this much fun in so many consecutive days. I did finish one book...and a couple of magazines by the pool. Not as much reading as I had hoped, but trust me it was worth the sacrifice.

I accidentally left my cell phone in my car at the airport in Nashville, and of course I left no extra time for such things, so I just had to leave town without it. (I thought it was in my purse, but remembered once it was too late that it was in my cupholder.) In a way it was very liberating to be away with no means of communication, but then I remembered that my friend I was visiting in New Orleans' phone number was in there. No problem, right? I'll just call my other friend that knows her, too. EXCEPT for the fact that HER number was in my phone too. I had to get online, look up friend number 2's parent's number, they gave me her number, so I called her to then get the New Orlean's friend number. WHAT a fuck-up I am. So THEN, when I checked out...that's when the real shocker came. $50 worth of long distance on the hotel phone. I SWEAR I was only on for a few minutes with each person. That shit must have been like $5 a minute! I could have fucking bought a new phone and a month of service for that price!!!!!
