I put up my Christmas tree today!!!! It is certainly.....large. I don't remember it being this big last time I put it up. But I LOVE it...it's so pretty. I have a collection of Hallmark ornaments that my grandmother started for me when I was a baby. My mom has continued the tradition. It is always a warm fuzzy walk through memory lane to decorate my tree.

Meanwhile, I am battling a terribly sore back. I pulled it about a month ago, and it keeps getting worse and worse. Of course wrestling with the tree today didn't help. I just can't seem to find time to rest and let it heal. Especially this time of year when EVERYBODY is in a mad rush to get their hair done. My clients tried to guilt me into going in today, but I just HAD to have a day off, ya know? Screw them.

Our heat in our shop broke AGAIN. We have been told the unit needs to be replaced...which falls into the responsibilities of our landlord, but I'm not so sure he sees it that way. We spend several hundred dollars a year keeping them running as it is. I refuse to put another dime into it.

Everybody do the back-healer dance for me. It needs help.
