You haven't seen shit 'til you've seen a lightning storm - a real lightning storm - from 30,000 feet in the middle of the night. Definitely one of the coolest things ever.

Somebody tell me something sexy!

The coolest lighting I ever saw was in Snowmass CO on the fourth of July a few years ago. I was up high on the mountain, there were fireworks in the valley below, and a thunderstorm above.

As for something sexy... I imagine you standing there, on the edge of the cliff, lit repeatedly by lightning flashes, transfixed on the human lightshow below and the cosmic one above, warm rain falling, soaking you through, rain rolling off of your skin...

I was chased by a lightning storm all the way down the Malay penensulla. As I left Burma the last night, I saw the flashing off in the distance, electricity visible over the tops of golden temples, like the arteries of God. The signifigance of the flaming balloon laters over the lake that I had seen as the sun was setting in the glorious way it only does in tropical Asia had not yet been fully absorbed. I was at peace, I pursed my lips and made that one eternal syllible, higher than all others, the very resonance of God itself, "om."

The rest of my travels as beautiful and glorious as they were held no candle to Yangon, old Rangoon. The storm pursued me, making sure that I didn't forget what I had seen and learned there.

Sexy eh? It's much easier to define what is not sexy than what is. People are hot, prose is sexy.
