ugh... tired. i stayed up way too late fucking around on this site. i seriously need to get a life (no offense guys)

we have a new mayor. i couldn't have asked for a better election. geee... do i want the democrat or the democrat. needless to say the guy i wanted won. great thing about Milwaukee, as conservative as it may seem at times we tend to be quite liberal in our mayoral choices. we are the city with the former Socialist mayor, after all. hard to top that one.

hey, guys, go check out my pal Skippy_. we go waaaaaay back. oh, and i've sworn him to secrecy so don't think you'll be gettin any dirt on me. it aint happnin... hahahaha.

musically, i'm hitting Onopa on Saturday for the Legendary Shack Shakers. never seen them before or listened much but when a band gets labeled "one of the scariest bands of SXSW 2003" well, i take the bait. the lead singer has been compared to an IggyPop/Hasil Adkins style punk/roadhouse/bluegrass/pyschobilly style rocker. oooo.... that gives me the shivers.
