mmm... sunday. feeling pretty good except for the fact that i'm freaking myself out with all of this yoga stuff i have to have ready by friday. yes, yoga is not always relaxing.
friday night was too much fun. went to Barossa for dinner and eyed some of the cute lesbians there. i don't consider myself a lesbian -- never dabbled in that arena, but i'm a firm believer in the idea that there IS someone out there male and female for everyone. some of us are just more willing to admit it. ok ok, enough of that... ended up at Evans and had way too many beers. i think the shot of Tullemore Dew is what did us in. my friend ended up passed out on my couch. her husband is going to forbid her to see me again. he thinks because she has two little kids she can't let her hair down every once in a while.
last night i went to the Vines/Jet/Living End show at the Rave. i hate the Rave... the sound sucks and the drinks are ridiculously overpriced, but what're you gonna do... not a whole lot of live music venues left in this fair city. all in all the show was good. lots of young kids there. i met up with esquire27 and his adorable nephews from LaCrosse. always good to see you man!!! these kids were glowing they were so excited to be at a rocknroll show. god, i wish i could feel like that again. John, the oldest one with the most amazing smile i swear i've ever seen, ended up fighting his way out of the front rows and hanging out next to me for the end of the show. he was so funny and so drunk and he kept apologizing to me and saying such silly things and giving me these huge grins. if i were only 18 again... now i sound like Humbert Humbert. hahahaha
