i'm beginning to understand why the vow of the bohdisattva (sp?) is such a difficult one. that's a vow i am not even close to being capable of taking. i'm surrounded by ignorance and i've reached the conclusion that it is hopeless to try and help these people see the truth. there's just no point in trying. the only thing that happens is i end up becomming completely and utterly frustrated and angry. geeez, i have a long way to go on the path to enlightenment.
enough of the heavy stuff. i went shopping last night -- something i rarely do since i HATE malls. i found some cheap sassy shoes which always makes me happy. and, some sassy lingerie too. things are good. sometimes i'm so shallow and vain.

Hey, it's always good to splurge on yourself from time to time. Going to malls to do it is the price you must pay sometimes. Think of it this way, sure it was hell to go but you came back with cool stuff. Think of it as a quest... THE QUEST FOR SHOES.
