I am finally home and happy to have the funeral over with. I also some how picked up a nasty cold too while I was visiting my family to top off a wonderful week. I think tonight I'll be cuddling up to a beer (or two or three) and watching movies on the couch. Seems to be how my weekends are ending up these days.

I hope the funeral helped you feel better. Being surrounded by other people who also feel what you're feeling really helps. That time to just cry, feel sad, acknowledge the love you feel, and feel the love from the people who are there with you ... it's all really beautiful when you think about it. And then there's the party afterwards ... I like those better than wedding receptions!
I almost went to see Triplets of Belleville last weekend, and now I wish I had. It's gone.
