I like sports bars to alot. I went to one the other night called Nick's Place. It's like an Italian sports bar, right off Westheimer in houston. The food is awesome and they have a pretty extensive drink selection, they also have pool tables n'stuff. It was really nice I liked it a lot.
If you wanna catch some bands play try Fitzgeralds, Numbers, or the Engine room. The only problem with those is sometimes it's all ages and you end up with a ton of 16 year olds packed around you.
