Some complete arsehead has placed a bomb in the car of the mayor of Haugesund.
Haugesund is a town 1,5 hours north of where I live. It is famous for it's film festival (and the Amanda - the Norwegian Oscar) and the Sildajazz (Herring Jazz) festival.
Every town in West Norway has it's own Jazz festival. The Jazz season started this week in Voss with Vossajazz.
It comes to Stavanger in May with Maijazz. I actually preformed there the second year it was held with one of my bands called Himmel og Hav (Sky and Ocean).
The best known and biggest is Molde Jazz. It always gets the biggest names.
