Reworked the poems to a more "Romantic" style:
My Brethren, death deserved
what hast thou taken away?
a shadow of pain as memories twist.
once we tasted bliss,
untainted & hand in hand,
but thine Love drifted away.
a clouded vision of bitterness -
teareth follow pain, follow agony,
Love burnt to ashes.
in a haze of sorrow,
i still Love thee.
Around, all around, the angels gather.
My dread grows
as the wroth hand of Heaven falleth
'gainst mine naked soul.
It crushes me, & darkly mine
life's blood drips
to the barren land.
In agony I cry out
while the Reaper taketh mine hand.
Now alone, mine cry of mercy art finally heard.
This is mine salvation
My Brethren, eternal
'Tis a night of darkness,
a song of dark desire,
wolves vent their loneliness.
The dark one stirs.
Evil shrouds her deathly form,
a timeless life.
Her silken hair cascades o'er
fragile milk-white shoulders, & her
full scarlet lips part slightly,
to taste the life
streaming from the
pale flesh beneath her.
Now a night of new awareness,
I smile vaguely.
Alone in Darkness
the night falleth with a silent sigh,
cold & alone art we.
the light for which ye lust
flares once, then dies,
swept away by the all-encompassing dark.
all hope must surely perish.
thine heart desireth no more.
how could thee fail to believe?
shadows surround us, crying,
sanctuary.
A God that is Thine
My Brethren, slender beams of moonlight enter
this darkened church as I kneel,
always in prayer, always tormented,
frozen here,
waiting.
Verily, haloed forms wrought in panes of glass loom as
dust dances in the air,
forming an image in mine mind,
spearing mine naked soul.
My Brethren, realization dawning on an angel's face.
I raise mine head, now crying out for
this oblivious salvation.
