I am finally here. The place is better than I had thought it would be. From the sounds of things I will be here for about four months. And then the good part, as soon as it is time for me to be leaving here I am sceduled to go to Japan for a year. But then it gets even better. IF, and that is an if as I can deny my orders, if I decide to do the tour in Japan my next duty station will be four years in Alice Springs. So thats something to think about. I guess thats one good thing about not having any connections, it makes it a lot easier to just leave for five years.

BTW...steraling my wireless conection right now. The walls here are kind of thick so the signal isnt great, but it works.
