Static Illusions
Closing your eyes as you take another step on the edge
For what seems like days you have been walking here
Walking slowly across the edge of a straight razor
This time it hits your foot in a place not cut before
The blood runs quickly falling down the dark abyss
Only twenty more steps till you reach the other side
Bones in your feet fracture with a snapping report as you step again
The tears flow from your eyes and rush down your face
The pain begins to be something that you can taste
Breaths come quickly as you prepare once again
The metal gurgles blood as you lift your foot
You quietly pray for the numbness to take over
And as you step down yet again there I will be
Laughing and pointing as you beg to be killed
Forever in my mind I watch you walk that line

Yeah, the character development is practically nil but it's decent enough. I decided to give it a chance. I might be bored with it by next week, though.

Oh I totally agree about the cute/sexy thing! But I also agree there's a difference when you're TRYING to look like one or the other
