What a difference a day makes!!

Yesterday, I felt terrible, generally. I met with a new student I am now teaching, and had to do a fair bit of pablic transport travel at night through some not nice area. I just started hating the world, and noticing all the bad things, I felt over-whelmed by the misery and on the 364 bus crying my heart out. I met up with some friends from uni for a drink, and really didn't feel up for it. Within ten minutes, I was laughing, and starting to feel human again. Then we met this bunch of really nice people, complete randoms, and we all decided to go to a local indie club. I had the most amazing night. I danced and I drank, I got hit on by lots of people despite not being dressed clubby at all!! I didn't do anything embarrassing and I made friends with a heap of really lovely geeks. This morning, I woke up sans hangover which is a miracle for me, and went to teach a class. After that I took a walk through the local town centre, and everything just made me smile. I was wandering around singing Buddy Holly classics and just feeling good about the world, and myself. And, miracle of miracles, I was totally cool with being completely on my own, and I hate being on my own!

So yeah, long story short: I'm in a great mood!

Yay, a sexy geek! Who likes Doctor Who! While it would be strange and creepy to propose to you at this exact moment, I shall now send a friend request and prepare to bore you about the time I saw David Tennant in his first major stage role and we nearly ran him over afterwards in the theatre car park...

Gosh, you do know your early Tennant! This wasn't the Brecht, but an RSC production of Romeo and Juliet (he was Romeo, and the best thing in the entire rather lame production).

I know I should put more on the TV side of things, I filled in the profile when I first signed up and haven't updated it beyond the 'bare bones'. Shall rectify that now smile
