Okay, first of all: I really hate to train people. I don't know why, it's just not my cup of tea. HOWEVER, obviously my boss thinks I'm actually good at it. That's why I'm always the one to take care of new stockroom-colleagues.
Now, the thing is: we are way too few people. But, because new personnel is expensive, the higher-ups usually go for casuals, who work one day a week or so. Now I only have one day to teach them everything, so they can handle things on their own. Which they HAVE to be able to do, because, like I said, we are not. Enough. People.
So, to teach them, I can't do my regular work. Because they are only here once a week, I need to tell them everything a thousand times, because if you don't get the routine down, it'S just darn difficult to remember. And now it's the third or fourth time, that - when they are finally ready to do shit on their own - they quit. All for naught.
And then the whole things starts anew.
