Ha! I'm so back from the dead! Well... it's more the kind of "back from the lazy-asses", but a little update won't hurt, right?
There is one thing I need to keep in mind around here. This town I'm living in right now, is way smaller than Vienna was, you know, the place I lived, before I moved here. And people are a little bit more prone to get irritated by looks that aren't *that* common. See, I bought new contact lenses because I got really bored with myself. (I still am, but there might be a few changes coming! Good ones, not the revival of bad habits from the past - although it's still something I miss a lot for many reasons, although I'm "clean" for years now.)
Anyway, usually I don't notice if people look weirdly at me. But this time... holy shit! And the color of the lenses is rather subtle this time, but still... I felt like Typhoid Mary!
But now I have a good reason to go outside more often. Not to irritate people, but to take more pictures of... of fucking everything! Because I also got a new lens for my cam! (It wouldn't be fair if only *I* got new ones, right?) It was a present from my lovely parents and while most photographers out there are probably just going to smile dismissively, I'm like a little child with a new toy. It's a f1.8 50mm fixed focal length lens. And it's a whole new challenge and learning process! But oh so much fun...
