shimmer

so i am technically out of a job. my school year jobs have come to an end with the finish of school, and i am without a fulltime, consistent job. i have put my name in for subbing at 2 local childcare centers, both of which i have discovered are losing staff and will definiintely be needing me over the summer. i am basically on an as-needed schedule.
this is a good thing. without scheduled hours, i can make arrangements to visit friends and if i'm asked if i an available to work on any given day, if i have already made plans, i can say no.
this weekend will be low key...this afternoon, my mom and i are attending a summer solstice celebration hosted by a woman in our woman's spirituality group. tonight, my cousin, leeann, and my 3 nieces, kaylee, ashleigh and kelcie, are performing in their dance school's recital. we've been looking forward to the recital for over a month now. on sunday, we plan to have my mom over for a bbq. we haven't gotten together with my mom for the last 2 weeks, and i think she has been rather lonely on sunday afternoons.
so that's about all that's going on in my life right now.
glenn and i look forward to seeing the movie WANTED, with angelina jolie and james (mmmm) mcavoy. next week!
