So I just finished buying my boyfriend his Christmas present, pretty exciting.

He's getting a toy Mach 5 action figure thingy with spinning blades and a stainless steel hip flask with his name engraved in it.

I was kicking myself over not getting the hip flask I saw at Bombay for $6.99 that was black leather, kicking myself a lot. I wasn't sure he'd like it the couple weeks ago when I saw it.

I bet he knows I got the hip flask, but it's supposed to be a surprise. I tried to get his opinion on them without being too obvious, then I told him I was going to get the one at Bombay but they didn't have it so I was sad. Hopefully that'll throw him off my tracks.

I couldn't figure out what size to get, because they're all so small... but the actual flask is pretty big, it just doesn't hold much. If I get a 16oz, will it be too big for his pocket? But if I get an 8oz will it hold enough? Maybe I should've gotten the more expensive one and not gotten it engraved? Rob doesn't drink, so the only reason he wants it is so he can pull it out at school and take a swig of green tea or something from it.Not to mention, he's still attending highschool, so he couldn't be really drinking out of it. I'd been playing with the idea of getting him one ever since he mentioned wanting one when he saw somebody else with one. If I hadn't bought him the Speed Racer car, I could've wasted money on a nicer one, I still spent too much on him, compared to what he'll spend on me.

I lie, he'll be getting money from his family, and with my school situation we'll be surviving off that during his visit I will have my traditional Build-a-Bear, I'm still aiming to get the cat. I got him a dog we call Mr. Fluffles (who wears a hawaiian shirt like Rob did when I first met him), who I got because I always liken Rob to my dog because of his personality... whereas I'm more like a cat in the relationship, I'll demand attention when I want it and then yell when I have more than I want. Maybe fourth times the charm?
