Yesterday I got to work thirty minutes late because the schedule I was E-mailed was wrong.
This morning I got a call at 11am asking where I was, apparently I was scheduled at 11, not 1 as the paper copy of the schedule had said.
My clock in card also went missing around the same time.
I am not a happy camper with this. I got a new card, and hopefully my schedule will be right on from now on.
I have, however, wasted money on three new DVDs in the past two weeks; Big Fish, Anchorman and Dodgeball. Thank you, Wal-mart. Despite working in a theater, I typically don't see the movies again once they leave the theater, even if I really love them.
Probably shouldn't have waisted it with all the saving I'm trying to do, but whatever. I'm just going to have to cut back on other things. Hopefully that won't set me back so bad I don't have money for school this spring. I'm hoping to take at least two basic classes at the local community college, since the usual school I attend costs $80 more per class and I think almost everybody has already registered.
I also made out like a bandit with a bunch of posters. I think my fellow supervisors are jealous because I have the best relationship of all of us with the employee who does posters, so I get permission to take almost any poster I want. They either sneak posters out, or else they have to ask her specifically for it. I walked off with Jackass 2, Man of the Year, Marie Antionette, School for Scoundrels, Idlewild, Stranger than Fiction, Grudge 2 for my friend and The Marine for my boyfriend's sister.
In the past I've also gotten a lot of really awesome ones, but unfortunately at home I don't really use any of them... I'm hoarding them 'til I get my own place.
I just need to motivate myself to work harder and get more hours
