My best friend is in Edinburgh at the moment. She was the organiser of things and all my friends and I are so lame with organising that we've barely seen each other since she left. Silly.

Ouch. That type of situation is all too familiar for me of late so I can relate. Best of luck in the recovery, rebound, wallowing, or optimistic future - whichever it is you decide to go with. Apparently "optimistic" is the best way to go? So people tell me.

New coach too for the Leafs. In typical Leaf fandom style I'm hopelessly dreaming of a chance at the cup, as we all do every season. Peca will be key. One-year contract and I'm still considering a jersey. Is that so bad?
