Where was I?

Sick.

Yes, and I'm fucking pissed off about it. I've been feeling crap since about Friday last week. It's not the I'm gonna puke nausea or the I hate the world and I want to die influenza. It's the I can't move a fucking inch even if I wanted to fatigue.

So thanks for the attempted contact. I just couldn't get to my phone in the other room.

It's the sort of thing related to chronic fatigue syndrome or hyperglycemia. Two things which are likely to happen to me because one has happened in the past, and the second is an associated with diabetes (type 2 I think) which runs in my family on Dad's side.

The fatigue hits regardless of sleep, I'm getting 8 to 10 hours no worries a night. Caffiene, other stimulants and energy substitutes are useless except for small periods. Both problems mentioned above can be controlled by a good diet.

So the worst thing is that I've brought it upon myself by eating poorly over the past few weeks.

Actually that's the second worst thing. The worst is during the day I have enough energy to move. Therefore I have enough energy to sit in front of a computer all day. Thus! I have enough energy to do my job. (And I don't have enough sick leave accrued, be damned if I'm wasting my annual leave, I'm tougher than that).
