Alright i think I might make part updates until this has some semblance of a full post. So after the blood giving I got thinking this morning about how I get a natural high after giving blood. It feels very similar to the runner's high you get because of exercise.

I ponder whether it's due to a chemical release in the body due to losing a pint of blood, or is it I'm just feeling happy for 'doing a good deed'?

Update Mark II

The spike mark on my arm still bloody well hurts. I'll be in trouble if I ever get addicted to needle drugs.

Spring has sprung, the grass is ris, I wonder where the birdies is? I'll tell you one thing they aren't doing and that's dosing up on 360mg+ of antihistamines a day. Fuck allergies that go berk for no reason.

In a random side thought to my medically infused update, I purchased myself some 'premium lager' made by the Blue Tongue Brewery in the Hunter Valley. The 3 I have quaffed have been (for want of a better phrase) most excellent.

Update Mark III: Beyond Updatedome

I wandered out to JB to see if I could get the god damn DVD. The folks in Cannington are a collective useless troll. Apologies to anyone who reads this who works at JB Cannington whom I didn't speak to.

But, the journey was not without it's fruit... I have aquired a copy of The Warrior's Code by DKM and I am presently getting drunk and singing about a Sunshine Highway. I also grabbed Blackout, because I lsot my other copy moving house.
