I didn't go outside pretty much all this weekend. I'm still fluxuating in and out of periods of feeling like absolute shit, but I don't want to turn this journal into an outlet for that. I don't want an outlet, I want to address the sources of shittyness. Stem the tide. Escape from an all too familar hell. In good time.

Anyway ... on the lighter side of life, I recently got some black faux fur covers for my bed. And a big green furry dong-shaped, er ... cylindrical, pillow from ikea. Pimp ass shit, if I do say so myself.
Also, my [other] roomie and I strung some Cat-5 under the house, so every room has access. I set up a FreeBSD NAT box so all of our machines are on a private subnet too.
Now I'm surfing in bed with my TiBook. Reading RFC's and looking at SG sets.

It's good to be the king.



p.s. I uploaded some old artwork I found archived on my disk. By old I mean I made some of it on a Mac 68040 or SGI machine back in the day when I was like 16 or so. I used to want to be an artist doing scenic/matte painting for film, but I decided programming cause I was better at it.
