well, i have been miserable for nearly a week. I thought I was getting a sinus infection so I went to my doc. he said there was some evidence of a post nasal drip or watever so he gave me some antibiotics and since my mouth was a little swollen on the left side he told me to go see my dentist as well. Well, this was last thursday, and unfortunately there was a dentist convention @ mccormick place (which I should have worked on but for political reason I couldnt) and neither my dentist or my parents or any in the area for that matter were going to be in their offices until monday.

starting friday my mouth started getting worse, and painful. I couldnt bite and i got a few of those nasty cancer sores - which i didnt understand because i was supposedly on a pretty powerful antibiotic. Not only that but since I couldnt eat anything that wasnt liquid or paste... i have been pretty much sleeping a lot, well i had a nightmare saturday morning and BIT MY TONGUE! erg! So, now i have a mess of cancers, a bitten tongue, and a nice infection in my 2 lower wisdom teeth.

Thank GOD!, my neighbor had some Vicodin !

well i finally got to go see the dentist today and he told me I was pretty infected, and the reason that I keep getting more cancer sores and swelling even with the antibiotics and Peroxyl is that my resistance is pretty much shot trying to deal with the two wisdom teeth - and that they have to go! asap! So he gave me a number for the oral surgeon, and i have to go see him tomorrow.

I tried to get to that office today as well, but they didnt have any more time. This sux because i dont have any damn insurance, let alone the approx $2500 this is going to cost me. There is no way Im getting them pulled while awake, so they are going to have to knock me out which is going to be extra. dont get me wrong, i can stand pain - i never used novacaine or gas when i have cavities filled - as that doesnt bother me, but the last time i had teeth pulled when i was really young (my k-9s) as they wouldnt fall out so the new ones would grow in - that just hurt like hell even with the shots that dentist gave me.

So i am miserable, gonna be even more in debt and I know that with the appointment tomorrow - its going to be a few more days of mouth misery and eating liquids before I event get to go do the surgery - which is going to render me even more helpless for more days

sorry this was so long, but i guess i had to vent because if i talk for more than two mintues it feels like im getting punched in the face.


EDIT!

I had my teeth pulled today, what an experience!
Right now i have gauz in my mouth and am continuing to bleed. Hopefully that will be over with in the next few hours or so.
