Why do people try so hard to be sexy? It's much sexier when you're not tryin at all. The sexy look some people have is so shockingly unsexy to me. I always think they have Downs Syndrome when they squint their eyes and puff out their lips... I mean I'm all about a Corky's right to feel sexy but....you know...?

A couple weeks ago my dentist filed (yes, filed, not filled) a gap between my two front teeth. Weird right? She did it because it's supposed to help my teeth get straighter more quickly with the invisaligns...But really...there's hardly anything uglier than horrible gaps between your teeth. It feels awful. Mines almost completely gone now, but eww, how nasty. Glad thats over with. yay! An the real though, fuct up teeth are really...fuct up. I'm glad mine aren't that bad. they'll be perfect by xmas. yay again!

So I knew this guy from the gym since I started going a lonnnng time ago. I didn't go alll summer but I went back almost two weeks ago. So we've been talkin and he asked me out on a date last night. I usually always say no because I figure why start something I'll just fuck up and because I'm a big retard but this time I said ok. Fuck it. He's in excellent shape and it's intimidating because I'm SO not, but he likes me nevertheless. I never would've thought he'd have gone for me or I'd be his type. But after talkin to him I was wayyyy wrong. I was super wrong about the last guy I had a thing for, but this time I'm wrong in a good way. We'll see what happens, but I have to admit I am kinda lookin forward to kickin it with him. I've always been a sucker for tall guys with dark eyes. I have never had to chase his friendship and that is what made me give him a chance. That and he's HYSTERICAL! Once again, a total sucker for someone who can make me laugh out loud. He was helping me with an exercise for my ankle and he's super considerate and thoughtful. He's so much better than the normal, average, predictible 26 year old guy.

I love when someone can shock me. I love when people turn out to be more han what they seem instead of always less than. I love when someone comes along and proves my cynical thoughts wrong instead of just reinforcing them. Nothing will probably come from anything with him, but just this much with this guy is enough to make me happy for a while. I've got my faith back.
