Well the weekened was pretty good. Heres a recap on my weekend.
Friday ~ I left Flint at 3:00 for up north. We stopped and took lots of pictures. I got out and took a swim in lake michigan which was pretty nice and a bit chilly. Then we stopped just outside of munising in Christmas and got a hotel room. The hotel was called "par a dice" it was right next door to the kewadin casino. The hotel gave me $10 in tokens to play at the casino. I put in maybe $3 and won $85 I decided to stop there cause I was afraid that would have been the only time that I won anything. so I didnt lose any money
Saturday ~ We drove from Christmas to Houghton to see my nephew. Hung out there for a bit and had lunch then we drove to the porcupine mountains and did some hiking. I saw a few bald eagles and some other little critters. We stayed at my moms friends house in silver city since thats not far from porcupine mountains.
Sunday ~ We woke up early and went back to the porcupine mountains and did some more sight seeing then we drove down to see the bond falls which are always nice to see. it was getting late so we got a place to stay for the night
Monday ~ woke up had breakfast then headed towards manistique to see these palm book springs which were really interesting. You got on this boat with the middle cut out so that you can see in the water which was crystal clear. There was tons of springs in the water. You could see them bubbling up. The water was so clear that you could see dimes and pennies on the floor of the pond. There was also huge trout swimming around they were probably about 2 feet long at the most. After we left there we headed towards mackinaw and then back to flint. I didnt get home till like 1am. Then I had to get up early and come to work.
Now Im at work bored out of my mind wishing that I was back up in the U.P. I plan on going up to porcupine mountains again next summer and renting one of their cabins for me, my fiance and two of my friends. You have to hike 3 miles to the cabin. Its right on the lake. You however have to reserve it8 month to a year in advance. I was too late to get one for this summer.

I love to cuddle towards the begining till i fall asleep then i like to roll over and have my space. Of course I cant have much space cause my kittie likes to sleep at the end of my bed between my feet or right next to me.
