Yesterday, out of the blue, it somehow came about that my hubby and i are moving
completely unexpected, and we've since been cleaning and painting and pricing things non stop since yesterday. The place has been used as a storage room, and the bathroom was never finished properly, so it's showers in the neighbor's house for a while, but at least the bathroom is getting renovated, so worth the wait. If all goes well, the place will be ready for our stuff by Saturday, though leaving our cats behind for a whole year is going to break my little heart.
We picked up two little abandoned kitties around 2 weeks ago, and tomorrow they're going to the pet shop because we couldn't find them a home, and I'm a bit nervous for that because we found out the one we used to give the kittens to in Jhb used to feed them to their snakes! D: so I'll be asking many questions and hope for the best, I couldn't bear to think that it might be commonplace for petshops to do that
I also miss my best friend/other half, I haven't seen her since August last year over things going wrong when we do make plans, it gets a bit mundane without her around. Distance sucks ass nuggets.
On to more positive things, it's my man's birthday! (which is a good excuse to try my hand at making R2D2 cupcakes
)
