My best friend's mom passed away Sunday. She had cancer for probably the last 10 years in some form or another, and it finally went to her brain. I don't know what to do or say to Kathy, and I can't even get to the funeral because I can't get my shift covered at work......

I started running again today. I used to keep track of how much I exercised, and I have not done shit since last December 12th, sad to say. I did not run very far, or very fast, and yes I had a beer the second I got home, but I do feel good, in spite of my burning thighs
