When you are in the service industry (waiter/ress, bartender, etc) you get such a bigger sampling of people then most so you tend to see things in a different way. You start to see pretention and hypocracy in a lot of the way people are when they are all dolled up to go out compared with how they are bummed out. It was something I always found sorta cool about it. . .you get a big picture.

Theres nothing wrong with simplicity and the ability to let your hair down. I like having a duality that i can either dress up or just hang. . .to me it adds to the times I want to dress up and go out. Makes those times a bit more of an event cause I put the effort into them. And just because you don't dress up or fuss. . .doesn't mean you can't indulge yourself. . .It always seems to me that the high maintinance chicks are more putting on a show for others and not themselves. It's like they are constantly on code red alert and never just chilled out and relaxed. . .indulgence is about making you happy. . . and honestly. . .bra off and laid back. . .I am pretty sure you'd make anyone else there happy too ;-)

I'd be lying if I said that women like that are not attractive but at the same time those things you describe make them unattractive. They are caught upp in the chemical culture and I can't stand the fake. They could be cool people and all but it is like they are trying to compete with younger women fearing that their men will leave them for one. I don't really know but these are my thoughts.
I definatley find independent, natural women more attractive.

All you can do is be yourself and deal with things the way you see fit. Your Aunt must be very appreciative of how you've helped. Often the little things can be the hardest to do.

Not much anyone can say makes things any easier I know. Went through some of the same sorta thing with my pop. He didn't have the nerve damage. . .just had a habit of liking to use power tools while tanked. It sorta takes a little part of you every time you see it I know. . .sorry you have to go through it. As hard as it seems, you'll make it and in the end, you'll find it makes you stronger within. Just don't let it make you harder too.

At least 7 years ago his third wife got you two together and you had that time. In is as much as you think this is the image you'll keep with you about him. . .you'll find that time stands out much more in years to come. As trite as it sounds, the bad fades and the good remains.
