Can I just tell you that a hot bubble bath with a cold beer on the last night of my work week makes me really happy? One of my guilty pleasures.

The other day I was trolling around on Myspace just for the hell of it, looking for people I have lost touch with. For some reason, I remembered Lara, a girl that moved away in 3rd grade. I will admit that I initially befriended her because she lived in a big pretty house, and I wanted to see what it looked like on the inside. But, we got along really well, she was really smart, and I was too back then, and she had a quick wit that I loved. She was not a pretty girl, kinda chubby, pasty, bad hair, thick glasses, and she always pulled her pants up to her ribs. *Nerd* We spent a lot of time together, and then she moved away somewhere, and I think I was sad for about 10 minutes, and that was that. Hell, I was 9 and there was no email back then.

Lara has a really unusual last name, so I wasn't really surprised when I found her on Myspace, but WOW, she is not the nerdy little dork anymore. Homegirl has some impressive ink and her profile and blogs allude to some peircings in her nether regions. From what I can gather by what she has written, she has had some wild years, but now has a kid and is pretty leveled out. We are having a drink tomorrow, this should be interesting. I am predicting we will get along smashingly.

Finally, I would like some input from you people. I think I am going to dye my hair dark brown, what do you think? It is really hard on my hair to keep it the red shade I like, and I think a change might be good. It might be fun to be a brunette after all Discuss.

Tuesday is my 3 month anniversary with my man. I know it is gay of me to keep track of shit like that, but it is a big deal to me. No matter how shitty things get in my life, which they really don't, I know he will be there for me, and that just feels good. I appreciate him on so many levels. Geez, how girly Who would've thought I could be this way.........

Edit, Monday evening: Just got back from meeting my 3rd grade friend for drinks. She is really really fucking cool, we had a great time. So weird how after 20 years we still get along and have the same sarcastic sense of humor. Definitely glad I went I hope we keep hanging out.
