So what's the most embarrasing thing your husband or your ex ever do?

An example -
I had asked my ex-husband to cut a small hole in a bookcase so I could still use the plug. Instead of using a forstner bit on a drill to cut a simple circle - he used a foliding knife (not a lock back) and ended up nearly severing...

True Friendship.
You WON'T see cutesy little smiley faces on this post-
Just the stone cold truth of our friendship.

1. When you are sad, I will jump on the person who made you sad like a spider monkey
jacked up on Mountain Dew!!!
2. When you are blue, I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
3. When you smile, I will know...

Yeah it was a good weekend, it's tough though when I don't have any privacy, it doesnt help when im feeling emo at all either. Some days are good and some are bad.

and yeah, he said that in front of me, lovely huh? Our living conditions have been very stressful for me, it doesnt help matters much.

I still have at least a week of training, and it's tough since I have still been feeling sick off and on too. I woke up totally sick to my stomach today, ugg....I need to go back to bed.

Why Worry?

Stress and anxiety do have their place. They push us to make necessary changes in our lives. They signal when we may be in danger, and inspire us to take action to get ourselves out of danger. (This danger can be any type of threat to our physical or emotional well-being, from not doing well on a test to losing a job to...

you're right....it's always so easy to rationalize when i'm not stressing and anxious...but when i'm WAITING and wondering and scaring myself it's like i lose the ability to reason...does that make sense? i start feeling really scared and desperate. i hate that.

Actually today was a pretty good day! Thank you for asking...I do need more of those. So far my training is going well, I still have about another week of training and then the real fun begins! whatever

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE - BEWARE OF POPULAR LITERATURE - "A lot of these ideas are generated by someone's opinion or a desire to sell books, and not from data,"

Researchers from Brigham Young University and Stanford wanted to investigate whether men really are from Mars and women really are from Venus, and they found, at least among depressed individuals, that the answer is a resounding no...

"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupry in The Little Prince.

I've been on this site for almost a year now. I've watched people come and go - departures largely the result of the lack of funds. (Which is understandable given the current economic climate.) But it's also a...

I thinnk there is a lot of beauty here, I have meet some amazing people who are now really good friends, so I have been truly blessed. This site has given me many things, and although there are alot of people on here who come for whatever reason, thats what they choose...I dont care about them, but myself and my friends and what makes me happy and in the end thats all that really matters.

I think that pondering the practical function of the concept of beauty and why selective pressure may have led to its incorporation in our DNA will go a long way toward justifying the narrowness of its definition in most people's minds. Instinct obviously doesn't preclude individual creative expression and exploration but I think it explains the dearth of it in this area.

As for the train wrecks, I don't wish to sound judgemental but I hate to see trains get hurt, even if they're just diesel-electrics. OK I have a little train fetish, but it doesn't have a negative impact on my life. Let's just drop it. wink

Recently, I had an ephipany and realized that I missed participating in community worship. In my search for enlightenment I discovered a community that most closley paralells my personal beliefs and wanted to take a moment to share with all of you. Over the past year or so, through my interest in science and related political issues, I have become involved in an international community...
