Year of the Dragon
Hello all :-)
Thankyou for the words of encouragement in November and early December. I have been at war with workload and doing two people's job's at once. I have succeeded in getting back my Reputation from 2 years ago in Payroll. I have fought all year against self doubt about my ability, however, finally, on Friday I was taken to lunch by my boss as a thankyou for pulling Borders UK from a payroll hell. It's a shame I seem to have taken Tracey's job but she chose her way of doing things and I chose mine. This last 3 months has been like Shoe Studio workload wise, however in terms of reward and recognition, has been the total opposite to close to the wall shoe company. It's a great team I work with and I actually have enthusiasm going into work everyday. It's different when you and your boss can work together on getting a job done properly, awesome, I'm running a 1700 payroll by myself and loving it!!!
I have been very quiet since November to focus on spending time with Emily, my Girlfriend. It's been fun learning about Ferrets, animals, various tell tale signs, fish, aquariums, loads. Mind you, I'm still me, still into my music, my sports and my reading. 2666 is the next book I'm about to start reading, eeek its 900 pages long.
My frame of mind is much improved now and to Mark, Chrissy, Caroline, Becky, Steve, Alex and Jenny, I missed the end of Jan deadline. However by the 28th I should have made it up to see you all with Emily.
I'm seeing Dylan Moran at the Cliffs Pavilion, Southend on Feb 9th. Have already enjoyed the delights of We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road, London. I'm also due to see Hairspray on 23rd Feb, Grease on 10th March. Is this the real life, or this a fantasy....
I shall be texting and keeping in touch again shortly, just to say, I'm doing fine, and just needed time to get back to my old pre-war self lol. Now to catch up with Vampire and Zombie film collecting and hope you enjoy the little view of Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Hope everyone is well and yes I hope to be up by the end of this month, however I'm low on money so may well be during my week off in March so will catch up more before then.
Miss Cake, I shall call you before this week is out my lady. So glad you are doing well.
