First off, how was everybody's 4th of July weekend?

Mine was ok except I worked all weekend.
Friday I worked my final shift at Hollister from noon to closing and I'm so glad to be done. Afterwards me and my friends drove up to DC to watch the fireworks, it was ok. Saturday I was supposed to go to the beach but there was fucking thunderstorms and supposed to rain all weekends and ruined our plans for the weekend. Luckily my manager called me asking if I wanted to work a shift and get some hours which I'm in need of. Later that night me and my friends all went to Denny's to hang out and the girl I've been seeing was there too and it ended bad. Long story short, I'm no longer seeing her because she didn't like my friends, the way I act and apparently she had a problem with my piercing and tattoos, especially my chest quote (she's a religious freak.) Honestly, I'm not too surprised it happened and don't really care. After Saturday I have decided that I'm no longer seeing girls whose name starts with the letters A-Z, so if you're name starts with a number or a symbol like Prince used to just say hi, haha

Today was the complete opposite, my manager called me in to see if I wanted to come in and work on updates and to discuss something. Truth be told I thought I was going to be let go but I was so wrong. He told me that one of the Asst. Managers gave in their two weeks notice and they wanted someone to replace her, that someone was me. When I found that out I was so thrilled I wanted to jump in the air for joy and click my heels but I decided on keeping my cool. I just have to have a sit down interview with my Store and District Manager and I'm on my way to becoming an Asst. Manager at Zumiez Which means that if I do get the job I won't be moving back to CA at the end of the summer. This would definitely be a reason to stay rather than it being something I had no control of. He also said that if I do well, in a year I could be Store Manager at any Zumiez in either MD, PA, DE or VA locations. I celebrated by calling up my friends and treating them to Red Robin and having an awesome time. I would definitely put the overall outcome of this weekend in the W column
