Well I finally joined the site after visiting as a guest for over a week after one of my online contacts recommended the site 
I don't know why I was so paranoid about it now and even opted for a public profile. You wont be seeing my pic here though because 1) I am in the major freak bracket (and not in a good way) and 2) I am one of those social butterflies that envies (but does not possess) the self-confidence and open attitudes that the SG's and others that post their pictures have.
Today has been a weird day.... spent the last few weeks working my ass off on this major project that is due to go live in two weeks... I finally have a day off and just cant seem to unwind. Went out and rented a few DVDs to try and take my mind off the shiz, wanted some no-brainers so got Bulletproof Monk and Below. Below was on the good side of okay (but Pitch Black was much better) and Bulletproof Monk just sucked. Gee only been called by work four times today... yeah relax dude.
Been playing Homeworld 2 quite a bit today as well but I am surprised to find I completely suck at the game, surprised since I cruised through the first two games. I got it last night and it was a toss up between that and Soul Caliber 2 (damn I must be a freak because Ivy just so does it for me *confused*)
I just dont know what else to say today since it has been a kind of a flat day all round, just checked my lottery numbers and gee what a surprise... no win. Another week of work and avoiding the urge to go on a homicidal rampage around the office.
One thing did kind of freak me out today though since I hate spiders, I was looking down the side of my house considering about ripping a whole load of bushes out and I noticed one bush looked hazy, as I got closer to it I realised that it was COVERED in spiders webs (and seriously I don't mean there were a few on it - it looked like every branch had been cocooned). One more reason to avoid doing the gardening I guess.
Listened to the new Enigma album (Voyager) and I am a little disappointed. MCMXCad I found to be one of the best albums I have ever heard as a whole but with each successive album its just getting weaker.
