Last year was the first and only time i made it out to California, I was flown out their for free to be on the IFC series "The Ultimate Film Fanatic", one of seven to represent the east coast. I was a basketcase upon my arrival, for some reason i get highly agitated when it comes down to anything remotely competitive............................I was off by the first question, and the question was so so so fucking easy, that only a moron could have gotten it wrong Thats right folks, that moron was me. Of course i blame it on stagefright, there is no exuse...i just blanked out, shit happens. The people staring at me, the sweaty palms, the ever so cool Chris Gore waiting patiently for my answer. I think the silence, although short lived, really got to me. I do believe i should have had a drink before going out there. My friend Jodi, upon seeing the infamous tape of the show (because all embarrasing moments should be frozen in time) glanced over at me, laughed and then said...."Way to represent the east coast Shelly"
