I just wanted to share this unusual fact about me: I love to watch ballroom dancing and i love watching films about it as well. When i lived in n.y.c , i had no cable (which was fine as in n.y.c there are things to do and places to go) I only got in like three stations, one of these stations would show the ballroom dancing competitions. I got hooked and would watch the screen mesmerized by the glitter, the costumes and the folks dancing in perfect unison. It made me giddy, and at one point i decided to take a ballroom dance class with my friend Carla....... Needless to say, i sucked at it. Not for lack of rhythm mind you, its just that dancing in complete sync with another human being is really fucking hard and believe it or not, it takes mad skills. So...to all you ballroom dancers out there, I tip my hat off to you..............Well, whenever I'm wearing one anyway
