i stayed home and read "Haunted" by Chuck Palahniuk,
had a midnight cocktail and talked to my oldest friend Laura on the phone (annual tradition with the two of us)

saw an interesting little film recently by Steven Soderbergh called "Bubble"
it was good (not great)
but i was impressed that after the couple big hits he has had, that he just wanted to make this little independant film with no famous actors in it..
shit, i spelled Independent wrong... sorry
anyway, its a good movie and worth checking out.
