I'm still sick, and have yet to get back to my last comments as ive been sleeping a good deal the last twenty four hours,
so i'm a bit behind with my bookmarks... i'll catch up eventually!

Yesterday, despite the illness.. I managed to do a three mile walk in Brighton for autism research on behalf of my nephew.
Dorwayin and I actually enjoyed the walk, it was very scenic and it was a beautiful day out.
Sadly enough, my lungs got really pissed at me for doing said walk and upon my ride home, my cough got really severe.
So i took a sick day off from work, i just havent had the energy yet to get back to everyone.
everytime i stare at my friends comments or even the computer, i start to feel a bit woozy.
Last week i saw a very interesting film from australia from ...um... 1993? not sure,
anyway, it was called "Bad Boy Bubby" and had been recommended to me many years ago.
First off.. i am not going to recommend this film to you guys myself, even though i really enjoyed it.
It starts off pretty damn disturbing, but then along the way becomes a character study rather strangely inspirational and hopeful....
The main actor (cannot remember his name!) was very good in it, and if you are interested in reading up about it, i suggest heading over to IMDB as i dont want to give away too much.
But like i said, some of the scenes (especially in the first half hour) are disturbing, and not meant for those with weak stomachs.
also got around to seeing "Old Boy" which Wendy and my brother Johnny had both told me to see...
another mind fuck brought to the film world from Tartan Asia Extreme, and i have to say this film was worth the wait.
My only problem with it was that my brother lent me a dubbed version, and i actually prefer to see the film with its original subtitles (dubbing somehow always distracts me)

so yeah, i'll be readin up on everyones journals soon, and hopefully get back to you guys later.
I'm hoping for a comeback in the next couple days.

i originally posted a video from you tube here from Fad Gadget,
but as i watched it, i realized how bad the dubbing was and chucked it out the window...
i told you how i feel about bad dubbing!

um, post one of your favorite videos from the 80's..
please?

xxoo Shelly

Do it this winter and we can have cocoa and popcorn and I'll make my famous maple pecan pie for later....

thank you... it was always my favorite of him.

I love burning up too, but you rarely ever saw that one. Dress You Up was another good one. That song always amused me.
