well...
after much peer pressure to join Netflix...
i made the decision to go with another online video rental service called Greencine..
its a little bit more expensive (five dollars more for four rentals out)
but their cult film selection was a lot bigger.
Nuff said
so far on the way is "Cache", "A tale of two sisters", "Angels with dirty faces" (which we just got today)
and...
drumroll please..
"Cafe Flesh"!!
needless to say, i'm pretty psyched!
and this morning was a bit of a whirling dervish for me..
i was afraid that my second oldest male cat "Jericho" (in my profile pic)
might have been blocked.
I witnessed him going in and out of the litterbox five times this morning!
plus he kept licking his penis as if it was irritated..
naturally i panicked as male cats that block can actually die within 48 hrs if not treated,
so off i went to my clinic one and a half hours before i was scheduled to work.
Turns out he just has a bad urinary tract infection and has to be on antibiotics and his usual special diet,
figures this kind of shit would happen right before heading out to manhattan,
but thank the gods my coworker (and vet tech) Kelly insisted she catsit so she could medicate him while i was gone...
as i think my mom might have some trouble doing this (its not always easy to medicate kitties unless you are used to it)
so yeah..... just a bit of a pain in the ass!
but i'm so happy he wasn't blocked or that could have meant some surgery..
D and I leave in the wee hours sunday morning, we are picking up FancyD at the airport and heading into new york city...
eventually we are meeting up with AfterbirthAnaxarete, and CorpHo...
and i'm stoked to meet them all!
one thing i love about SG is all the wonderful members i have met on here so far..
and i'm hoping to eventually meet more
when i get back online next week i will be cleaning up my friends list..
nothing personal, but i am keeping track of so many journals and bookmarks, and so many people who have
requested my friendship never talk to me
so yeah.... if i delete you, don't take it personally, i'm sure you are good folk, but like myself maybe you just
have too many friends on your list as well.
i already took a few off a couple weeks back, but i'm sure they didn't even notice as they never commented to me.
like i said, i dont take it personally... but seriously .. if you dont intend on commenting to me or reading my journal..why request my friendship in the first place?
I'm not that cool people!
and i barely ever post pics or write about anything that exciting..
so i guess i'm a bit stumped regarding that whole subject.
i wont be online much tomorrow,
i have a ton of shit to attend to before my trip, but i'll be back by wed. night probably
