Jodi and I......
I've known her since i was 18 yrs old.
Almost twenty years.
She has the most amazing artwork all over her body.
The best dreadlocks ever!
She is one of my best friends.
Jodi is petite, but has a huge heart, she loves the color purple, and shocks people even when she is not trying to.
When i lived in manhattan, she would come visit me, and would insist on sleeping on my rooftop.
I thought it was because she loved sleeping under the stars.
She is one year older than me, but looks much younger than myself.
She smells like spices and has a smile that could melt the heart of a die hard cynic.
And no matter what we have been through, we have dealt with it together.....no matter the distance.
She is a woman who gave me a little more faith in humanity.

and made me look at the moon and the sun......
and see them with a whole different perspective.
