Observation

If i don't drive around the park,
I'm pretty sure to make my mark.
If i'm in bed each night by ten,
I may get back my looks again.
If I abstain from fun and such,
I'll probably amount to much;

Today, i'm not dwelling on death as it seemed to consume most of my thoughts this week.
Yesterday, i paid my respects to Carl at the wake.
Today they buried him, one week from the day he was murdered.
I think of a little verse from a song...
"Every day and every hour, another sunflower....another leaf"
So this week, with Thanksgiving just a handful of days away...
I'm going to focus on the things i am thankful for.

Just a few so as not to bore the hell out of you
The first obvious one would be family and friends.
A wonderful husband ( who can cook!)
Four loving and adoring cats.
The fact that i sat through the film "My Dinner with Andre" and didn't nod off.
Good books ( and comics )
Having just enough money to do what i like to do best............
EAT!
The wonderful, insightful people who converse with me on this site, in the last two years i have become somewhat of a recluse, and the interaction i have on SG, has prevented me from suffering from a certain fate that one Howard Hughes fell prey to.

I do fully realize that this entry may seem a tad bit corny.
But just humor me this once
