Thanks to everyone for sharing their favorite comedies with me and for the well wishes also.
I am on the road to recovery, but sadly enough, my better half is now stricken down with this dreaded illness.
I returned to work yesterday after a week long absence, to discover that pretty much half the clinic had contracted this virus thing.
Management was none to happy about employees calling in left and right, and from what information i could gather, the higher ups were on the brink of a mild to moderate nervous breakdown.
We are allowed at least twenty breakdowns in this lifetime i believe. Five major ones.
My journal entry.....so i make the rules
So i missed a week of work (which had been approved many months in advance) had a "sick" vacation, and have now returned to find my fellow comrades had all been sick as well, and on another somewhat sad note, an employee who works the front desk with me is probably going to be terminated very soon.
She is very well liked at the facility, but due to her mental health, and her ability to short circuit when it comes to high stress situations, her relationship with this career is slowly winding down the tubes.
I will miss her if she does get fired, she often plays with my hair and enjoys giving me make overs
She also once went on a shopping spree at the MAC counter at filenes and picked me up some lipstick.
You have to embrace the ones who want to help beautify their sisters in need.
