ok, so what do you do when a complete lunatic moves in next to you?
the garden flat in my building was recently bought and a lady moved in. i first thought it was odd when a note was left on the buzzer asking that nobody park in front of the gate where she can access her house as she is disbled and needs room for the wheelchair - fair enough, right? wrong. especially seen as she is not actually in a wheelchair or in any way noticeably disabled. then after a few days i noticed that she had dug what appeared to be a moat around the garden and that she had filled it with water and glass jars... a few days later and i get home from work to notice that she had now also put oranges in the water too... so then she fills it all up with dirt and leaves it for a few days. this morning i was woken up to the sound of a weird smashing noise, only to look out of the window to see her hitting pieces of broken plates into the air with a tennis racket! after that she preceded to run back and forth from her back door the the gate and slamming the gate open and closed. then repeating this over and over while sometimes singing or screaming. she did this for about an hour then all was quiet... i'm not in during the days except at weekends so i am not positive but i never see anyone with her, and you would think that maybe if she was this nutty she would have some kind of carer... so what do you do? i guess i will just keep an eye out and maybe contact the local council if she becomes anymore destructive or agressive, but i don't really want to get involoved. what would you do?
in other, slightly less disturbing news. i bought this new perfume...
so now i can smell and taste like a cupcake
ooh and i finally got this on DVD
i saw it at the ICA a few years ago on a limited release and have been waiting forever for the DVD. i definately recommend it if you are a bukowski fan.
so to anyone who is aware of the whole jt leroy hoax thing, what do you make of it? whatever the truth actually is they have created an amazing media circus around the whole thing. i am a fan of the books, and never even thought that maybe he didn't exist until recently with all the stuff in the press about him. very very weird story indeed.

oh and just to prove how rock and roll i am i shall tell you all about my recent run in with the law... so usually i don't pay to get on the bendy buses and just keep an eye out for in inspector, well yesterday morning about 4 got on at the same time and i was so engrossed in my book that i didn't notice, until there was a large man towering over me asking for my pass... well no amount of eyelash fluttering or proclaiming my innocence worked so i got lumped with an on the spot fine... oops, oh well it doesn't even come close to making up for the 100s of other times i have not paid to get on the bus...
